Who operates AskBaily
AskBaily is a product of NP Line Design INC, a California corporation (CSLB #1105249). References to “we” or “us” mean NP Line Design INC.
What Baily is, and isn't
Baily is an AI scoping tool. Baily generates cost ranges, timeline estimates, and permit flags based on training data and LA-specific knowledge. Baily is not a licensed architect, engineer, or permit expediter. For anything that will be submitted to LADBS or another permit authority, Netanel Presman (CSLB RMO) or a licensed design professional will review before submission.
Construction contract
No construction contract is formed through this website. If NP Line Design and you decide to build, a separate written construction contract will be signed — including scope, fixed price or cost-plus-fee structure, milestones, change-order procedures, and CSLB-required disclosures.
Accuracy
We take reasonable steps to keep cost data, permit references, and neighborhood information accurate, but LA regulations change and typos happen. Verify anything material with NPLD or your permit authority before making a decision. If Baily tells you something incorrect, email [email protected] and we'll fix it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, NP Line Design is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from your use of the AskBaily chat or website. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to AskBaily (as distinct from an executed construction contract) is capped at $100.
Dispute resolution
Disputes are resolved in Los Angeles County, California courts, under California law. You waive the right to a jury trial. Class actions are not permitted.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
